To create a network of next-generation Asian leaders with a long-term vision to sustain the future of Asia, Toshiba Youth Club Asia (TYCA) is again inviting students from Southeast Asian countries and from Japan to gather in Tokyo for a week from March 20-27, 2019 to appreciate diversity of Asian cultures, discuss critical social issues as world energy and environmental protection, role of science for social innovation, and eventually work together to create the long-term vision of Asia toward 2040. One male and one female high school student from the Philippines will be invited to join this group. To qualify, students must be highly interested in Japan, with interest in promoting exchanges with Asian countries and must write a 1,000 words essay with the title, “The roles of my country and of Asia for a sustainable world”. Please submit your Essay with your Name, Age, School and Year to the Philippine Federation of Japan Alumni (PHILFEJA) at firstname.lastname@example.org on or before the 6th of October 2018. High school applicants to the TYCA invitation must be between 15 and 18 years old.
